Execution

Grant’s whisky has a rich history spanning over 100 years, and their communications always seek to exude this sense of tradition as well as their core values of authenticity and craft. The printing press box, with its removable pieces, natural materials and attention to the smallest detail, expressed these brilliantly, as well as having an incredibly tight fit with the overall campaign theme of ‘newspapers from history’.

Outcome

Relationships with trade buyers at the big supermarkets are vital to the long-term success of the brand, ensuring it keeps its precious slot on shelves. Showing them the care and attention that goes into our communications with consumers, and making them aware of the efforts we put into our promotions to support sales, is paramount. But getting share of voice in their busy day is difficult. The printing press mailer did it, gaining a 100% positive response with all ten supermarket buyers taking up the promotion.
