Description

The new Autostadt journal leads visitors through Autostadt and, in addition to current topics of interest, new attractions, displays and culinary offers, is dedicated to the central topic that Autostadt is dealing with that year.

Execution

In 2013 this was tolerance, a complex overarching theme, the many different facets which are highlighted and covered in depth via readings, events and the journalistic work in the magazine. The combination of graphical and photographic interpretations of the content provides a platform and framework for the powerful, fresh and flexible design of individual issues, as well as for all further publications.

Outcome

Just a few weeks after the shop opened its doors, the innovative concept received five awards from the Type Directors Club in New York and the title of Store of the Year from the German Retail Federation.
