Description
General Electric is the leader in the world of jet engine manufacturing. In this case, General Electric not only wanted to enlighten the consumer on its cutting edge aircraft engine-building division, but also to demonstrate that the General Electric brand stands for innovation, and to show General Electric’s commitment to aircraft engine safety, environmental preservation, and education. Incorporating a combination of visual design and technology, we were able to create a solution that communicated innovation – independent of the actual content provided. The solution was a destination called Engines 101. The journey begins with an explanation of the scientific principles behind jet propulsion, follows the building of the jet engine, and finishes with a test flight – each step requiring a user-click action.
