Description
To make people feel happy when they encountered the Koodo Mobile brand we created hundreds of animations and motion graphics all designed to make people feel happy every time they encountered the brand. These GIFS, animations and other bits of happy were combined in different configurations along with animated type and motion graphics that became advertising and digital content paid off by the tagline, Choose Happy.
Execution
Koodo is a youth targeted mobile provider. And knowing they live mostly on their phones, it seemed right to make a campaign that was designed for how we watch stuff on our smartphones. So we created a modular system of branded entertainment and messaging that was designed to be consumed on our smartphones. Animations, GIFS, fun illustrated type, created by cutting edge illustrators made sense as the basis for the work.
We collaborated with amazing artists and illustrators like Mike Perry, Carolyn Sewell and Adrian + Gidi (amongst many others), asking them to deliver our messages in the happiest way possible, collaborating to turn their art into messaging and design.
