Execution

A real-time tech-innovation, Le Remote Camera, was born to tackle the false perception -problem mentioned above and win some hearts, media and business. It was an invention that made it possible for anyone at anytime and any location to remotely shoot a real-time picture with this on-the-move camera our blogging creatives were wearing in Cannes.

All you had to do was to go to mccann.fi/cannes and press the shutter on the virtual camera and the remote camera, strapped onto them in Cannes, shot a real-time picture that was immediately visible on the page.

Outcome

Reaching the right forums: M&M’s 'McCann at Cannes 2013' blog site was directed to the campaign site at mccann.fi/cannes. During three days over 1000 pictures were taken making Lé Camera the most popular blog on the marketing publishing it was made for. During 48 hours it was the most read piece/blog. McCann Helsinki was also celebrated by the entire network as the 'Nordic Innovation HQ' and news about the Remote camera was distributed withing internal news. With Lé Remote Camera McCann Helsinki brushed some dust off it’s shoulders and appeared on the right forums as an innovative and creative agency.
