Background
This campaign was a COVID-19 health message, emphasising the importance of small actions everyone could take to make a big impact on the COVID safe life over winter.
Execution
The campaign was brought to life by creating a series of miniature worlds where COVID safety objects became the hero of the piece, seamlessly integrating with their surroundings. The miniature worlds were filmed entirely in camera which meant that everything that appeared on screen was crafted and built from scratch.
Each set was designed and built to scale around the specific COVID safety objects. From a basketball court made of a face mask, and a bandaid bowling alley, to skateboards fashioned from RAT tests, and tissue packet couches.
There were over 60 individual miniature people that inhabited the scenes, which were 3D printed using the SLS process. This enabled us to get very fine detail in such a small scale. Specific colours were chosen for each characters clothing that were then meticulously hand painted.
