Description

In Brazil, the actions of branded content are concentrated in movies, series, web-series, and sponsorship activations in general. As the most part of the budget companies is concentrated on TV, it's hard to find good examples of innovative branded content. The games themselves are still simplistic when compared to the rest of the world.

Execution

Smiles used the mobile platform in two different ways. In an exclusive way, we created a completely new system, an unprecedented combination of e-paper and geolocation technologies, in which even the book cover changes according to the reader's journey. And in a more democratic way, we developed an iOS and Android application also able to identify where the reader was open and the corresponding story. So that everyone who wanted to could live this experience in his/her tablet.

Outcome

TRIP BOOK SMILES had repercussions worldwide, both in the trade as major media, specially in travel blogs and technology. Thus, Smiles has positioned itself as an innovative and cultural brand awareness. In addition to that, the download rate and the request for the physical unit were higher than expected. Until now, Smiles has increased 30% the airline tickets emission.
