Description
A (plastecine) father and his son are standing by their dog, which is lying lifeless on the ground. The boy is sobbing, and is desperately trying to awaken the dog. His father puts a comforting hand on his son´s shoulder and tells him the dog is dead. Suddenly there is a sound from the dog. The boy can´t believe it and exclaims: “Skippy! You´re alive!” Boy and dog hug each other and the dog licks the boy´s nose.
Cut to the inside of a tent, where two (plastecine) buddies are lying in their sleeping bags watching this tear-dripping scene on their cell phone.

Execution
The technique used is good old claymation, as seen in countless kids shows like Pingu and Wallace and Gromit.
You take a pile of clay, mould it to your desired shape, then move it 25 times a second for the desired effect!
Everything you see is done in camera, the only post done is rig removal and colour correction.
Sets were built to fit the 22 cm. tall puppets.
