Description

Nando’s scoured the country to find Australia’s favourite chicken. Eligible candidates needed to be MSG-free, hormone-free, have no excess fat and willing to play for the ultimate prize: marinated in PERi-PERi for 24-hours, basted and flame-grilled. Eight chickens were placed in the Big Chicken House for six weeks. Under the watchful, omnipresent eye of 'Big Chicken’ they lived in luxury with their own coops, pool and play equipment. Challenges were run and won, intruders threatened to derail life in the house and there was the inevitable controversy. Three chickens made it to the final with Catalina eventually covered in glory, and PERi-PERi sauce.
