At the Gran Teatre del Liceu - Barcelona Opera House, our media department, negotiated a very special moment at the concert of Paco de Lucia (best flamenco guitarist in the world). 5 minutes before his appearance, all the audience (2,300)were sitting and waiting for the concert to start. We presented “Paquito” a 2 meters high dancer puppet, handled by 5 puppeteers using Theatre Black Light technique.We created professional flamenco choreography specifically for Paquito; he performed it, using a NOKIA N91 as the source of the music.
Outcome
The action got great impact, effectiveness and success, shown by the applause during Paquito´s performance and at the end. Especially coming from an impatient audience, of 2300 people, waiting for Paco de Lucia to show. The performance gave a live demo of the advantages of the product integrated in an artistic way.
