Description
The Norwegian oil company Statoil is engaged in a huge project in the sea outside of Aberdeen. Beeing a huge oil company working in a new local environment it is important to create goodwill in the community. So we made charming personal and informal messages from Statoil to the community of Aberdeen on local radio stations.
Most Norwegians speak English fluently, but with a quite distinct accent. This Norwegian accent is the key to this idea: In the beginning of the ad, the English is very Norwegian-ish, and then the language becomes integrated into the local accent during the ad.
