On the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin, you could see with your own eyes just what Postbank could bring to the autumn of your life. It was late autumn, but one artificially green tree was refusing to fit in with the dreary autumn scenery. Quite right too! In front of the tree was a Plexiglas stand bearing the legend: ‘How do you imagine the autumn of your life to be?’
Outcome
The massive attention which the tree attracted on behalf of Postbank, and especially the word-of-mouth marketing effect, made this a keystone in the positioning of Postbank as a provider of attractive pension products. A repeat is already planned for this year.
