Description
Dell buys market tested high-quality computer parts in bulk to lower the unit cost, then assembles them into PCs according to each customer's needs.We applied this "mass parts, low cost, fast, quality, custom assembly" idea in the making of TV commercials. We first determine the various combinations of quotes and scenes that would be in the next several commercials. After that, we make all the scenes in a one-day shoot. These sources are edited and combined whenever there is a need for an updating for a new product.
Outcome
Number of calls was 160% more than the forecast. Unit sales recorded 130% increase.
