Description
To promote PowerVantage (EasiGrow); it’s a savings account that offers the high interest rates of a fixed deposit.
Execution
Dramatise exponential growth in the simplest way possible: money growing before your eyes.
‘50 sen coins’ were distributed at HSBC branches nationwide. They were placed next to traditional leaflets to create curiosity and interest. The 'coins' were made of compressed cloth and each carried a single message: ‘Drop coin in water’. As soon as the coins are placed in water, they expand and grow into a RM100 note. Outcome
The ‘coins’ made their debut in public on 25 February 2008. Although it is too early to see the results, their high demand suggests a more than positive outcome; a first for such banking leaflets. We are already in the midst of producing the 2nd batch of ‘coins’.
