The film opens with a regular robbery taking place in a regular bank. It’s so repetitive and deja-vu that the robbers themselves are somewhat bored to be part of it. Cue Lay’s. We cut to the living room of our bored consumers getting handed packs of Lay’s chips and are now watching the robbery unfold on TV. Not only that, but they also actually impact the robbery with every crunch they have. Crunch, a tourist bus rams into the bank. Crunch, a giant eagle is saving a hostage. Crunch, our robbers are now fitted with jetpacks. Most of them at least. Crunch, now there’s a DJ setting the vibe. Camels roaming around. Break dancers. A massive lizard? Sure!

Is it absurd or is it how any of us imagines great bank robberies taking place on screen?
