Description
On occasion of the Champions League final in Rome, Adidas launched a limited edition of his soccer shoes. The aim of the press-kit was to deliver the message that a historical event was going to take place much more than a sport event.
Execution
The history of Ancient Rome can be told through its coins. A new one was released whenever an extraordinary or impressive event took place. That's why we decided to use coins for the Adidas press kit: they are the Roman way to remember and celebrate an historical event, such as the Champions League final.
Outcome
Reporters received the press kit outside the Coliseum, during the final match's official ball presentation.Most of them asked to have two, while the attending fans asked if it was meant to be put on sale.
