Description
Most people in China can't sort out their wastes because they do not know what can be recycled, and what can't be. We need to educate them.
Execution
We needed an approach where we could talk to the most number of people so shopping malls with high traffic volume was chosen. We also had to disrupt and get their attention in an interesting manner.
Outcome
People are able to take in our message as they were amazed by the eye-catching waste items along the escalators. The amount of time spent travelling on the escalators helps too. It was highly successful judging by the responses of the shoppers, but Friends of Nature had not gotten an official result as of this submission deadline.
