Description

Create a Direct mail/Poster/ Print campaign to advertise the services provided by sound production company Saxsofunny, among creative and production staff of all advertising agencies in Brazil.

Execution

In inserts made of metal plate, tracing paper or bubble wrap, we invited the advertising trade reader to reproduce the sounds from a typewriter, thunderstorm and bonfire, by simply playing with the ads.

It wasn’t that simple though, to make each one of them viable so that the reader could engage in the experience in an impactful way was crucial in making the ads stand out in the eyes of such a demanding public.By using extremely simple material it placed the reader in the leading role in the task of finding out each element’s sound, and made the advertiser stand out in relation to its competitors, conveying the essence of its business in a very straightforward way. When the metal plate was shaken, it reproduced the sound of thunder; when the bubble wrap was burst, a typewriter; and when the tracing paper was wrinkled, the sound of a bonfire.

Outcome

Combined with design and advertising blogs, this campaign brought visibility to the sound production company in the local and international advertising market and it earned partnerships with sound production companies in the USA, Spain and Argentina. A print campaign, with sound, that became viral. It’s different. That’s why it worked.
