Description
The ultimate Sprite Slide, a gigantic Sprite can with a huge straw sticking out of it awaited visitors at a lido. 1,500 liters cascaded from the supersized can that people could be catapulted from into the pool.
The experience was captured and used to create film content that aired on social media and in cinemas throughout Germany in August. On hot days, the content was broadcast on digital OOHs reaching people when they really needed to be refreshed.
Execution
The Sprite Slide transformed an existing lido slide/catapult into a supersize Sprite can, making the product the ultimate refreshment. And the most refreshing destination, even more refreshing.
Hosted at a lido the activation surprised and enticed visitors to get truly refreshed. The experience was captured and created content that was aired on social media and in cinemas across Germany. On hot days, the content was broadcast on digital OOHs to increase the effectiveness of the campaign. Throughout the summer Sprite reached over a million people on-site at the pool, online and on the go, just when they needed to be refreshed.
Outcome
The experience happened in the height of summer and was captured to create film content that aired on social media (Facebook & YouTube) and in cinemas throughout Germany in August 2017.
In the campaign period, four weeks in August, we reached more than a million people on-site at the pool, online and on the go in the moments they really needed to be refreshed.
