The main Visual Effects tasks were the creation, design and animation of a roller coaster ride, a flying bee, the coal cart ride facade, nuclear reactor and robot and the landscape under construction at the end. Other effects were done also, including the Also the woman on a magic carpet and morse code blinking twins in the gift shop.

Creating the setting of the theme park in various stages of construction entirely on a stage was a challenge. We built partial sets and created the rest in CG. A combination of VFX techniques including miniatures, partial sets, CG environments, rides, vehicles and matte paintings, all to create a seamless world. It was decided to build a miniature model for in-camera shots and have our presenter reference it. We then created partial sets and extended them in CG, such as the foreground section of the roller coaster.
