Background
Sustainability should rise from demonstrating the contribution of a brand to communicating the idea of a brand.
With global climate change intensifying and natural resources dwindling, practical action is what is needed. With the call for sustainable development, we need to engage in concrete and tangible actions for the benefit of society and humankind.
TCL's #TCLGreen project, launched in 2022, aims to raise awareness of environmental issues through the communication of green brand concepts.
Through various online and offline activities, TCL calls on people to participate in environmental protection.
Execution
The concept of sustainability should be elevated from a brand contribution narrative to the communication of ideas, through representative environmental artwork,to demonstrate TCL's values sincerely
We used the form of 2D animation to integrate the Red Dot Award-winning sculpture - an artwork composed of discarded circuit boards - into the picture, combined with technological interactive imagination, and exhibited the short film at the Milan Design Week to show participants the environmentally world created by TCLGreen, and to tell the story of TCLGreen's sustainable development.
The entire film combines animation with reality to create an imaginative space for consumers. By creating a lively and joyful green city atmosphere, the film conveys to consumers the idea of shaping a vibrant life through green environmental protection.
Outcome
As TCLGreen's eco-friendly philosophy becomes more down-to-earth, it goes from demonstrating what the brand has done for the environment to guiding consumers to really implement their own eco-friendly ideas and environmental awareness, and to think independently about what each person can do..
In addition, TCLGreen achieved a total exposure of 20,567,352 8,007,636 views and 69,426 clicks on Youtube.
