OVERVIEW

Description

The Art of Battles Won is an art exhibition commissioned by the United States Marine Corps to help create dialogue and engagement with the brand through art. The sculptures were the main visual pieces in a national recruitment poster campaign. To extend the power of these assets, we re-purposed them for an event series to help the brand among influencer audiences and possible recruiting prospects.

The pieces are displayed just like a studio show or gallery event. The host gives some brief opening comments before revealing the sculptures. Then the audience explores, views and engages with the statues. We have Marines and Marine Veterans on hand to facilitate good dialogue about the Marine Corps mission, the battles they’ve won and their importance to America.

The result is a moment of discovery, camaraderie and lively discussion between two worlds that would normally never come together.
