Description
The music to America’s Line had to complement the stunning visual of Marines lined up from one end of the country to the other without competing with or overwhelming it, and carry the honor that is inherent to Marines in their Dress Blue uniforms. It would have been easy to create a piece that was stereotypical of military advertising, featuring heavy doses of snare drums and cymbals and an unnatural groping for patriotism. In the end, the music captured the powerful feelings of pride that Americans feel toward their Marine Corps and the patriotism that Americans feel for our country.
