Description
The challenge was to create a piece that would span the entire course of the holiday season and would be enjoyed on more than one occasion. It also needed to be equally appealing/engaging for the general public.
Execution
Taking advantage of Pinterest’s layout and new video-playing capabilities, we created a digital advent calendar in order to tell a story. Every day leading up to the 25th of December, we pinned another video clip – adding to an ongoing animated tale about an artificial Christmas tree’s efforts to become real.
Outcome
With over 3000 views the first day, and recognition on numerous industry and pop-culture websites like Creative Review, Best Ads on TV, Reddit, Boooooom and Notcot, we surpassed all expectations and showcased Dare’s prowess at digital storytelling.
