OVERVIEW

Description

Using an emotional recognition software and neuroscience techniques, we created an in-store experience that reveals how each customer is responding to their outfit scanning the shopper´s heartbeat, facial expression, and body language. These metrics are displayed in real-time on the mirror. The Enchanting Mirror was an innovative promotion, giving automatic discounts based on how much customers love their outfits.

Execution

We collaborated with a team of developers and engineers to create a unique in-store experience. Using an emotional recognition software and neuroscience techniques, we reveal how each customer is responding to their outfit scanning the shopper´s heartbeat, facial expression, and body language. These metrics are displayed in real-time on the mirror. The Enchanting Mirror was an innovative promotion, giving automatic discounts based on how much customers love their outfits.

The experience was placed in different stores of the women's apparel brand Desiderata and had two different flights over the course of the end of 2016 and 2017.

Outcome

-The Enchanting Mirror campaign had +6M views, reaching +4M UU.

-The women's apparel brand where the mirror was displayed wanted to extend the activation and took the mirror to other stores of their brand.

-The idea was exported to other countries: South Africa and Phillipines.

-The Enchanting Mirror was exposed in the IOT conference in Paris on November 24th 2016.
