OVERVIEW

Background

The Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11th, 2011 left the entire Japanese population with unprecedented damages. The president of the client, Sakura Paxx Corp. was, of course, one of them. After the earthquake, the president was left asking himself about the meaning of his life and company. At the same time, he had an intense passion to get every single one of his employees to contemplate the meaning of working at Sakura Paxx – a company that produces and designs cardboard – and to be proud of working there.

Description

The film is the visualization of the client philosophy, "Creating a smile with a relay of heart connects the world." to let the company's employees be proud of working for the company.

The film is about a cardboard box that protects a gift from a variety of obstacles during its journey in a world designed by cardboards. It is also intended to be understandable and enjoyable for any audience.

The package was captured in each shot with dynamic camera framing and moves that pull the audience into the world of the story. The film achieved to give it a sense of warmth as though it was handmade with motion graphics-based CGI.
