Description

The creative idea was to create a fairy tale, revisiting the well-know myth of the mermaids, attracting sailors deep down in the depths of the oceans and bringing it a slight twist: the mermaids will always have this huge power of seduction on the sailors, but these ones will now stop to follow the mermaids in the abysses, if they wear their life jacket.

The life jacket is the third person of the story, making this love story not possible.

Execution

The film is done integrally in 3D, with characters, settings, accessories whose design has been creating especially for.

Outcome

With no media space bought at all… the film has been broadcasted in more than 320 cinemas located on the French coasts, on national TV channels, on seaside ones, in airports on digital screens and in multiple harbour offices and sailing schools… And we succeeded to engage so many partners because our film was very much appreciated..

On social networks, we received more than 2 millions views - historical numbers of views for the SNSM, the film was shared and commented thousands of times.

It also received very good reviews from the national and international press, which will hopefully help spread our message to the largest number.
