The band featuring in this film is authentic, and released both cassettes and LPs in the 80´s. Pictures and footage from old concerts are also real. This is the story: The band, Haugums Reviderte, who suddenly experienced some fame in the mid 80s had a trademark with smashing their instruments when finishing gigs. After years of gigs and tours they suddenly can't afford to buy new instruments anymore. And when the last set of instruments get stolen, they have to change concept. Thats how they ended up as a rockn roll band without instruments - only singing their songs a cappella.

The cast is an authentic rock band, acting as themselves. This was the main premise for the casting. They had to be real, look great and sound amazing. After searching through LPs and old rock hitlists from the 70s and 80s, we finally found Haugums Reviderte. Great guys with bizzare true stories we used in improvising. The cast gives the movie its needed originality and authencity.
