OVERVIEW

Description

We conducted a scientific experiment with children showing them two boards with drawings of monsters and houseware. By pointing out what they fear, we proved that children do not know where the real danger is, so it is the adult’s responsibility to protect them.

Execution

We conducted a test. We showed kids 2 images: one of a villain and the other of a domestic hazard. Then we asked them a simple question: “What is more dangerous?” Every single time, the children pointed the villains. With their answers, we showed parents that children don’t really know where the danger is, so it is their responsibility to take care of them.

Outcome

By shocking parents with the statistics at the end of the film, we got a lot of buzz in the social media in just a few weeks, with many shares across several popular social networks. Some pages focused in children's issues with thousands of followers posted our video, generating spontaneous media and reaching a countless number of parents. This way, the number of site accesses more than tripled in just a few weeks with parents looking for ways to prevent domestic accidents.
