The brief was to create 3 charming animated films where all the characters are fingers. Your finger can do all sorts of things on your phone, but it can also use Grab and impact society in all sorts of ways.

To make it look realistic and fun, we created 3D backgrounds with paper-like appearance and providing playful backdrop with intriguing textures. To humanise the animated fingers representing various ethnicities, we modelled and rigged photorealistic fingers with expressive eyes, making them related. Dressing up the fingers posed a challenge, requiring the team to visualise them as full human bodies to determine clothing cuts. The finger characters, crafted in Maya, combined realistic details with googly eyes and animated mouths, creating a balance between an animated film and a puppet show. The miniature set was designed to resemble a world for finger puppets, featuring paper and cardboard elements, along with flying elements on popsicle sticks held together with sticky tape, adding realism and humor.
