Introducing: Norton Top Search Result.

We created a online service/tool, that helps you by buying the rights to your name as an adword on Google, and give it to you for free. This way Norton can help you control what your first impression online should be. So next time someone googles your name, YOU and not Google decide what they should see first. Use our application to choose what your personal adword should link to. Should it be a Wikipedia page? Your online portfolio? Or that nice picture of you with a dog? It’s your personal space to do what you want with. When you’re done you can feel relaxed knowing that Norton are helping you protect your online reputation. A feeling that is taking you one step closer to letting Norton protect your whole digital life as well.

Since the price of an ad word varies from how many bidders it has, buying the name for a person is really cheap. Which means Norton's cost per contact is low, making it possible for them to keep the services running as long as they want.

Outcome

This innovative use of Googles adwords had not only given people a new way to express themselves, it had also proven that Norton are in the forefront when it comes to protecting peoples digital life.

This small Scandinavian campaign received over 330 clippings and thousands of tweets. Resulting in over 20 million SEK in earned media value.

The client are now looking at opening up this campaign to the rest of the world.
