Since its opening many years ago, the National Theatre has offered Opera most days of the week. However, it’s often very difficult to know what to expect from a show. So we wanted to generate further interest by giving people a glimpse of the drama the shows have to offer, in a way that is simple for everyone to understand independently of their language. This is how we created the Typopera: a series of posters where the Opera show titles reveal part of the storyline. This way, in one quick glance, people could know more about the show, get intrigued about how it ends, and buy tickets more confidently.
