Description

Refinement, concern to express the poetic universe of the object and the search for a discreet and modern luxury, all guided the design of the packaging.

- The graphic identity resumes the shape of the oval diffuser's refill for an immediate recognition and is accompanied by ink volutes, which express the perfume distribution.

- The case suggests the fragile and evanescent character of the Diptyque's flavors.

- The black and white contrasts with the gold hot stampings for a smart and sober depiction.

Papers are matt, and a particular care was carried in the finishes.

Execution

The challenge was to create a luxurious packaging without necessarily using ostentatious codes which do not correspond to the universe of the Diptyque house. 

A packaging can also be poetic, recovered from personal emotion, from the felt.

It is presented by the exclusive creation: specific graphic identity, designed accessories, atypical size, and limitation of the gold on certain elements.

The publishing supports resume the golden metal weft created specifically for the object.

The agency imagined waterproof cases to preserve the refills and drew a crowbar metal as clasp for a smart and exclusive note.

Outcome

As for any luxury house, the innovation is always precarious.

The 'conservative' clientele is very attached to the spirit of the Diptyque house, and welcomed openly the product denoted by its innovation of break.

The distributors followed as the number of commands doubled within the first months.
