We put Volkswagen cars giving out absurd driving noises onto the streets of Germany’s major cities. Puzzled pedestrians found the explanation on the side of the car. In addition callers of a hotline could win an inspection at the Volkswagen Service.
Outcome
The abnormal driving noises attracted a big deal of attention. Through the lottery we got in contact with potential new Volkswagen Service clients. During the two months of the promotion, the Volkswagen Service Hotline registered 16,000 useable calls. No less than 16,000 addresses of potential new Volkswagen Service clients.
