The entire 30 foot wind tunnel was designed and constructed for this commercial. It was created in such a way that it could be hung vertically, so objects could be practically dropped towards the iPhone 11 Pro from the hole behind the wind turbine in the “ceiling.” The space was modeled after wind tunnels that test spaceships and airplanes, but had to feel bespoke for the iPhone 11 Pro. The scratches, markings, and dents in the walls also tell the story of a space that is used regularly. The utilitarian details, and color palette were also inspired by the iPhone itself. This is a space that exists purely to test the iPhone and push it to it's limits after all.
