Description
People don’t believe that domestic abuse is an issue in Canada, but in reality one woman every second is a victim of domestic violence.
Execution
Visitors to the Facebook-connected website saw a clock, and each second they were faced with the photo of an actual female friend from their lives. The message was that not only did abuse happen every second, but it could happen to someone they care about. Users could buy one second to help Interval House assist a victim somewhere in Canada.
Outcome
Every Second Matters had extensive media coverage and thousands of dollars were raised for Interval House.
