The film was inspired by the classic "The First Bra, We Never Forget" by the 1987 Washington Olivetto publicist. The choice of casting took place in Argentina, thanks to the acting force of the actors in this country. During the research, the real case of transgender teenager Ludmila Galvan was discovered. In the film, the choice translates into the realization that if the first bra is striking to a teenage girl, imagine to a young transsexual who is getting to know herself as a woman. The teenager faces bullying at school, moments of sadness and melancholy. His father realizes that something is not right with the son and when reading his diary, he discovers that he sees himself as a girl. After difficult period of reflection and maturation in the recognition that it has a daughter, the father presents it with a bra.

The re-reading of the film "The first bra we never forget", in addition to a tribute to the original, considers the sad statistic that we live in Brazil a growing wave of cases of violence and prejudice, especially against transsexual people. Cases of murders and violence figured daily in the press, according to a diagnosis made by the National Association of Transsexuals and Transsexuals (ANTRA), which developed a study on murders of trans people in 2018 and released the Map of Transfeminicides. ANTRA has commissioned the campaign because it has as one of its premises to promote information actions and submit proposals in order to guarantee the rights of transvestites and transsexuals. And in addition, it recognizes in the campaign the purpose of promoting an atmosphere of respect and acceptance. ANTRA is one of the largest entities in Latin America.

The search for a real character was immense, research was done in Brazil and abroad, as in Argentina. It was a very specific case where it was necessary, a transgender girl who was about 12 years old, when a first bra was won. Trans teen Ludmila was found in Argentina, the daughter of separated parents and who lives with her mother. The campaign has Argentine actors and the recording was made in Brazil. The film also portrays the point of view of the father who represents the people who have prejudice.
