CVS Beauty’s campaign message of togetherness suddenly became increasingly relevant and poignant in light of the pandemic. The spot is a celebration of "beauty in real life” capturing a variety of women and their beauty regimens at home. Created and released during the pandemic, the film emphasizes the importance of clinging to routine and taking care of yourself, while cleverly capturing the essence of what this pandemic has meant to everyone. Filled with moments of real beauty, the spot celebrates the idea that beauty truly has no boundaries. To feel beautiful is to be human.

Souped up iPhones were sent to our talent in a production kit along with lighting, tripods, mounts, etc. Since our talent would have to perform the functions of grip, gaffer, DP, stylist, etc., leading up to the shoot, we conducted tutorials with our key crew to help instruct and elevate lighting, camera angles, HMU, wardrobe, production design, etc.

Using a combination of Zoom, TeamViewer, and QTake, our agency and client were able to tune into the entire shoot remotely and in real time, creating an ecosystem that mimicked that of video village. They were able to see the wide of our location but also experience live streaming of the footage we were capturing. Feedback was relayed in the same way we would on a real set.

Culminating in a 3 day shoot and an end product the agency and client were ecstatic about.
