BriefExplanation
‘Earth: Shot on iPhone’ is a series of beautifully captured vignettes of the natural world, shot by everyday Apple users on their iPhones, narrated by the late Carl Sagan, reading from his 1994 book, 'Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space.’ The film is a reminder that our planet and its ecosystems are precious and delicate and deserve our reverence and respect. Reminding viewers that we must 'preserve and cherish' our only home, because we're all in this together.
EntrySummary
We created ‘Earth: Shot on iPhone’ in the wake of President Trump’s decision to pull the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord and released the film during the NBA finals—just a week after his announcement.
