Execution

We created a series of new web pages on our global website www.accenture.com. We promoted the new pages from our global home page with an engaging animation leveraging the digital advertising imagery used in our global integrated campaign. The imagery features a visual metaphor of a dandelion to illustrate how Accenture’s approach to digital can help client grow their businesses.

The animated piece runs just over six seconds and targets our website’s primary audience of senior executives at large companies and government organizations. Visitors clicking through the animation are taken to the new Accenture Digital main page of our website.

Outcome

During the first two months of the program’s launch on accenture.com we saw sharp increases in traffic to our target pages promoting Accenture Digital. The new Accenture Digital section of our website received nearly six times as much traffic as other sections of our site. And the new main home page visual was clicked by visitors nearly 10 percent more times than the previous home page feature on our site. The new Accenture Digital pages received nearly 50,000 visits during the first five weeks of the new program, greatly enhancing our effort to promote the new capability.
