Description

Advertise people's old cars with our media and production budget so they can have the money to buy one of our cars.

Execution

We started with a campaign announcing we would lend people all of our media to advertise their own cars. We did it on ATL, OLA and social media.

During the two weeks we where on the air with this first stage we selected the participants between thousand of entries we received and started the ad production of their cars. We then used our regular retail budget to advertise people's cars with our own production values in the media we usually use for our campaigns: TV, radio, Outdoors, Print, OLA, social media, POP and more.

Outcome

We didn't only reached the sales from the same period last year, we had an 18% increase.

During our launch weekend our traffic rate increased in 5%, we generated almost 3000 new quotes, arranged test-drives for 800 customers, and sold 297 brand new Chevrolets.

People even started using our Facebook page to sell their cars in the comments of our publications.
