Description
From its start, renting office space in Tokyo, Mori Building Co Ltd has now become a private city development company working on large, government-scale projects like its redevelopment in the Roppongi area. As Mori Building Co's activities are conducted almost entirely in central Tokyo, it is directly and seriously affected by the fall in Tokyo's status as a city. Because of this, Mori Building Company believes that Tokyo cannot continue in its current state - that we must rethink Tokyo entirely if it is to become an international city. In the first phase of the website project for this company, we designed it with 3 main objectives: to tell viewers what Mori Building Co have been doing, to establish the site's brand identity, and to establish the overall design of the site's information structure. The site was launched at the end of November 2001. In the second phase of the project we aim to make it more functional; to reinforce it as a sales and promotion tool, to create more openings for communication with new customers, and to unify all the basic data using a simple web database. This phase will be completed by the end of April 2002.
