Description
The Federal President Horst Koehler set the task: „Germany should be known as the Land of Ideas.“ The government, in co-operation with German industry, wanted to present that Land of Ideas at the football World Cup in 2006.
Execution
Six sculptures formed the “Walk of Ideas” – a unique exhibition in the centre of Berlin that represents Ideas “Made in Germany”.
A competition was created to find places which were full of ideas. 365 selected places celebrate the biggest series of events - one event for every day of the year. A tourist guide gives an overview of all these places.But also the stars of tomorrow were shown in an exhibition. The German Historical Museum introduced 100 young inventors with extraordinary ideas.
To increase awareness among international investors, the representative Claudia Schiffer was shown on billboards in the biggest financial districts.
