OVERVIEW

Description

Ambev is the biggest brewery in Brazil, being part of the international group AB Inbev, that holds beer brands such Stella Artois, Budweiser, Corona and the brazilian Skol, to which this project was developed. Skol is the market leader in Brazil, being available all over the country and in almost all bars. The brand reaches all kind of public, but it has strong appeal among young audience, which motivates Skol to always pursue innovation on its products and brand experiences.

Execution

Ethnographic researches enabled identifying of innovation opportunities at the bar environment. Behavioral and cultural aspects allowed us to determine the project goals: provide cold beer all the time, increase service speed and invigorate interactivity and belonging among users, improving their experience. The result was a product system where the main part was the special bucket Cube. Its structure is composed for a double layer plastic wall, which contained a special liquid in between, establishing the SX TEC technology. The liquid freezes below 0ºC and lasts up to one an hour to thaw, keeping this temperature even outside of the fridge.
