Description
Two battles wage this weekend; one at home, the other at The National Museum of Military History. While The Ditsong National Museum of Military History is a firm favourite amongst war enthusiasts, the younger South African market typically perceive museums to be stuffy and uninteresting.
To appeal to a slightly younger demographic, we made war a more relatable topic and adding a dash of humour.
We did this by creating a campaign of radio spots that dramatized war in an unexpected way.
Sound design and performance was directed to create a believable and yet cinematic opening that drew listeners in.
