EasyJet would give you a free trip…to the next corner. After that, the cost would be yours, but would be extremely affordable. For this, we hired a crew of burly strongmen, dressed them in flashy orange uniforms and stationed them on the busiest street corners in Madrid. They would give out vouchers good for one free piggy-back ride to the next corner, during which they would inform their riders of all the possibilities easyJet offered for continuing their journeys.
Outcome
8 big guys, 8 hours a day, 4 days: easyJet made around 4000 winners, 4000 satisfied customers. A clip of this action was uploaded to youtube, obtaining positions among the most viewed, top rated, most discussed, top favorites and most linked of the Travel & Places category.
