Description
As part of an ongoing customer relationship program, Jaguar Australia invite their customers to a series of exclusive events that deliver the Jaguar brand experience.
This Jaguar Wine Blending evening offered an exclusive one-off opportunity to meet winemakers from St. Hallett and blend their own wine. Our brief was to design and produce a new invitation to capture the essence of the event whilst maintaining the Jaguar brand cues in design and format. This included introducing them to Jaguar’s new, stylised “Leaper” logo.
Execution
The invitation needed to be simple and sophisticated, befitting a luxury brand of Jaguar’s stature. It needed to represent the event with an engaging teaser that reflected the quality and exclusivity of the Jaguar brand in its design, content and production values.
The design solution saw the use of a carefully placed corkscrew device, exactly mirroring the contours of the Jaguar logo. It was striking, simple and, subtly, very clever.
Outcome
The invitation was exceptionally well received by the client and, more importantly, the select Jaguar customers who received it. The response rate for the event was significantly higher than previous iterations, and due to this success, the design idea was subsequently used again in a similar style for another Jaguar dinner event. This time the ‘Leaper’ was recreated with a knife and fork.
