MyThomson was beta launched exclusively for holidaymakers travelling to Tenerife where the app got 15,000 organic downloads in the first week with no media spend. Due to customer demand, more destinations were added ahead of schedule, leading to over 120,000 downloads in the first three months of release and hitting the #1 position in the App Store travel charts.
To achieve Thomson’s multiplatform strategy, an Android version was released soon after to glowing four-star customer reviews.
