Description
To introduce a new range of Nokia Nseries multimedia products, capable of recording and editing DVD-like quality videos, a series of rich, interactive promotional events and supporting online experiences were created.The most effective way to communicate and demonstrate the advantages of this new product was by giving consumers hands-on experience of all the benefits. We created a cutting-edge video-editing studio using off-the-shelf products. This gave visitors to each promotional event the opportunity to transform themselves into movie stars. Visitors left with a copy of their own movie and a uniquely memorable experience of the Nokia Nseries brand.
Execution
Radio and print campaigns built awareness and drove traffic to a campaign website, which provided more details of promotional events at 11 venues across Europe. These events were held in locations where large groups of the target audience were present (shopping centres, movie theatres and fairs). Promoters were on hand to guide visitors through the experience and help them create their own movie. Additionally, visitors to the event were encouraged to return to the website to gain a deeper understanding and new interactive experiences of Nokia Nseries products.
