PlanetofTriumphs.com brings the true story of the brand to life through an evergreen, ever-growing, mobile-first website. When members upload their own Triumphs, elevate each other’s Triumphs, and cheer each other on, Planet of Triumphs becomes a vibrant community and valuable member retention engine for the brand.

From a marketing perspective, we’ve also been able to use content generated from the site to post on our other social platforms. That’s helped us show non-members what’s possible at Planet Fitness and the type of supportive environment they’ll be welcomed into if they’re interested in joining.

Launched a year and a half ago, the site has reached over 17 million people with over 54 million pageviews. Planet of Triumphs already boasts over 160,000 active members who have posted tens of thousands of Triumphs. Even better, community comments and “elevates” (our Like button) now total in the hundreds of thousands.

Beyond the site stats, Planet of Triumphs has also generated numerous positive press stories for the brand. It has reached millions more through social posting and sharing on other platforms.

For instance, there are almost 4,000 posts tagged with #PlanetOfTriumphs on Instagram alone. It has quickly become an owned and valuable social/digital platform for the brand – one which has helped drive retention and aided acquisition, especially in competitive markets where Planet of Triumphs proves to be a brand differentiator.
